Back to bronze
Amy Winehouse is totally stoned. Sort of. The Yada Blog favorite has been represented in two pieces of art at this year's Royal Society of British Artists exhibition, one a bronze sculpture by called Excess, and the other a piece called Celebrity 1. From jewtastic.com:
In Excess, Winehouse is shown in a statue crated [sic] by Guy Portelli which is said to be a comment on “contemporary living, youth culture and values.”
Portelli, who says he is a “huge fan” of Winehouse commented: “I think she is a great talent. I would never make a sculpture of someone I didn’t respect.” Amy as art? It's about time. Where's Andy Warhol when you need him?
